drywall makes it feel like we can move in now!!

Lots of snow, a rainstorm (complete with thunder, lighting and hail!) and then -4 degree nights with a negligent plow company turned our road up there into a bit of a bobsled track.

ta-da!!!! It's worth the drive up there!

 our kitchen!

music room! (I found a chandelier that I'm very excited about for this room! Grace loves it too =)

 upstairs =)

upstairs looking into master!

And our SLIDE is SET!! Hurray!!! Joseph gave his heart and soul to make this happen. thank you!!! I've always wanted a slide in my house. =)

Setting last supports for the first ride ever!

Elijah won "first to climb up the slide". At this point he remarked, "I love my muscles!"

bedroom (but whose!? we are still considering where everyone should sleep...)

yay!!!!

ANd it is this cute lady's FIRST birthday today!! She is so cute!

Henry won "first to go down the slide" since he spent an afternoon a few months ago helping Joseph fit the slide in the slide shaft. =) He was very excited about this.

Joseph is above Noelle about to pull her up.

My man.

Joseph's fabulous idea for up here included keeping it open instead of closing everything in, adding floor and adding this cute little bench to cover the random air intake. Genius!

Henry going down the slide!!

Noelle liked the view more than the slide =)

They ran up and down over and over and over.....

 master bath =)

master bathroom, looking into closet. YAYAYAYAYAY (everything about this is sooooo exciting to us....)

basement!

hobbit hole! complete with electricity thanks to my handy electrician!

theater!! yaay!!!! (one day we will actually have time to watch a movie again...I think it has been three months since we've had time to watch a movie. ha, not ha)

basement (this was in the plans to be its own bedroom but we decided to keep it open for now)

basement looking into theater (on right) and AV closet behind Noelle

The room where all Joseph's homeruns end ... still can't believe he passed his second inspection... Joseph did not hold up the schedule even once... no matter how many late nights and ridiculously early mornings he had to work in the cold and dark he somehow muscled through.... amazed by him...

downstairs bedroom

back on main looking out to covered deck

Isaac racing up the stairs from the basement

so pretty with all the snow!

Next up:they are hoping to finish hanging dry wall on Monday. Then comes two or three weeks of taping and texturing the walls. They are hopefully will start putting rock on... and one day we might get some shingles to go with our paper on the roof. AND we ordered the garage doors-- that took forever-- and they will be delivered in 3 weeks. Soon they will approve our gas being turned on and then we will have a HEATED house! Like I said, ready to move in,. =)

picture dump with no words that I meant to post last week =)
