A front door, a front porch, lots of wire and SNOW

front porch!

We are going to have those two conjoined pillars separated.

 Look at all that wire....

Looking up where the slide will one day go.... =)

Loft looking into the master side. As I walked around with Elijah and pointed things out, he remarked, "How do you know this house so well! You know where everything is!"
ha.

We are trying to decide what to do about the floating beam syndrome in the entry

Yes, they are all ankle deep in the icy mud puddles.

Yes, they regretted it later.

Jared Perkins came up AGAIN to help us for TWO days.... so so so thankful for his help!!! sososososossoossoosososososoosososo thankful!!! Grace is hanging with the electricians while they finally get a moment to eat lunch

Does anyone else think those little skinny stilts are not strong enough to hold that deck?

downstairs shower! Looks like someone took a mud bath in it already...

 DANGER a million home runs!!

 added double door into theater

YAAAYYYYYAAAAYYYAYAA for a hobbit hole under the stairs!!!

 drinking fountain plumb in =)

and yay for our front door!!

this picture and the previous one were taken in quick succession-- game of tag in and around the house

Look closely for one of our children being drawn to the pile of snow, looking out of the master

deck off master-- deck does not exist yet =)

 master bath and shower

someone took a mud bath in here too- jack and jill shower

I documented this little gem because it shows how much my husband loves me... I asked for a switch in the hardest place...and he made it work...with his new oscillating saw.

Jared hard at work!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Notice the 'Christmas' flavor glass off to the left. =\

someone found Joseph's care basket for all of his 2 A.M. work hours...

How is he smiling after his 18 hour work days???? What a champion. I'm so proud of Joseph.

happy Noelle

new front porch!

 hello again front porch

Standing up there with railing one day will be slightly less exciting.

Sometime this week will be 4-way inspection. Our dreaded and blessed day of reckoning. With all the snow that has fallen since these pictures yesterday it will be super fun to see how they put a roof on this week. We are hoping for dry wall as soon as we ****pass***** 4 way. And then when it snows, it won't snow inside our house anymore.

hurray! Though my exclamation point is a little less perky and a little more desperate for a normal life again someday...  =)

After a quick dinner break and a few children playing on him (hence Kanga and Winnie the Pooh snuggled up with Joseph) my electrician fell asleep for 10 minutes before heading back up in the snow storm to keep working... we are both pretty excited to wrap this wire up!

We should hire a decision therapist

I wonder what the pathology looks like of a person who was forced to make too many expensive decisions with lasting consequences in too short of a time. ha...

 Fire places!

 windows!

 more fireplaces!

 one more fireplace!

Evan was so kind to come install a lighting rod system for us in this house! I think he had to go up and down the ladder 250 times. Maybe more. Thank you Evan!

Can you spot window installation and Henry?

 More lighting rod ingredients!

Please notice Joseph's beautiful electric box. =) I think he is 400 hours into this project.

Danger! People with no sleep working here!!

Please notice the furnace. Nice, huh?

First smudges on the windows. (a second ago his whole face was blowing zurbers there. )

The video of this is even funnier.

Lots of cool trucks. They cut a water line across the road on Saturday.

They wrapped it like a present.

Playing at the construction site. Just like their dad did. =)

Jared Perkins drove all the way up here and helped us last Saturday. Thank you Jared!!!

Elijah learned how to strip and pull wire and did some great work!

Sooooooo thankful for our lighting specialist and building consultant!!!

 This is for you Joshua!

Can you spot the new thing? our own ($$) fire hydrant!

Grace has a throne for when her mom and dad are trying to sort out which light switch turns on which light.

It looks like someone walked through the wrapping paper on the garage door.

windows make it look so finished! Let's move in!!

This is where Joseph lives from 2 pm until 11 pm (or, like last night, 3 am). Tonight three young men from the ward came to help him. We are so thankful for the kind, unselfish help of so many wonderful people in our life!!! Tonight, I'm glad Joseph isn't working alone for a bit.

Next week: hopefully 4 way, hoping for a roof with cool singles, last concrete pours before it is too cold, finishing framing and plumbing and hvac...
