My Handsome Electrician!!

I am sooo proud of Joseph! If you look closely, you can see the pink paper sticking out which is the APPROVAL for his first electrician inspection.
When I married Joseph I had no idea he would be so good at putting in power pedestals for new houses. ;)

House Guests!

I had to interrupt a game of Capture the Flag to document these cuties.

Joseph and I popped up before going on a breakfast date for my birthday. We bought our lot a year ago this week. Building a house takes a long time!

Sara was so cute to take progress pictures of the house every day when she ran up the hill. She even took a selfie with Hector, the framer. =) 

our first floor has rooms! and our garage has a wall! and the lot has mud!

One of the many mud puddles from this summer's only rainstorm. After this visit we told Noelle to tell the boys (who couldn't come up this time)  what is new at the house. 

Her answer: MUD!"

But there isn't just mud up there now....we now have:

STAIRS!!!

and.....

a garage!!!

and......

an entry (see the big door hole) and a music room (space to the left behind Noelle) and a bathroom (space to the right of Noelle). Hurray!

and.....

a pantry!!

In addition to popping up to see what has been done, we also spend soooo much time with these plans trying to make sure we will be ready for the next steps...  Here is Grace helping us out.

While we were making a list of all the window types (that we will order this week) we noticed the window count.... 96! Hurray for houses that look like swiss cheese! =)
