Permits

The feeling of relief to walk out of the Weber offices with our PERMITS in hand was slightly anti-climatic since the house was already excavated. =) Nevertheless, the culmination of that many hours of phone calls, emails, and wondering still felt like a celebration is in order!

Here is our pile of paperwork and stamps of approval!

After picking up the fire permit and the health permit, I was crestfallen to hear that the building permit wouldn't be ready until the next day. Especially since I had gone all the way to Ogden, to government offices with Henry, Noelle and Grace. Everything feels like more of an expedition with kids! Joseph called after I had left and Stan told him it would be ready by 2! Hurray! We ran some errands and when we came back it was all ready!
