On Wednesday July 6, Jed had an excavator delivered. Joseph and a few children wanted to go up and see the excavator dropped off. But as they started up the hill to the house, they saw a tractor trailer with an excavator on back zoom right by the turn off! Joseph flipped the car around and they 'chased' the truck trying to get his attention.
He didn't notice the kids yelling out the window for him to stop, but from the house I heard my kids yelling, "STOP!!! You WENT the WRONG WAY!!!"

Once he stopped at the top by the Dulaney's, the truck followed them back down. =)
Have you ever seen a excavator get off a truck before?
After only a few hours of digging, Jed already excavated the garage.
By 3 or 4 pm the next day, he was done! I stopped by on the way to the boys' baseball game. SO fun to see the floor shape we've been planning for so long actually be in the dirt on our hill!!
We are excited!
