paint is finished, on to TRIM! to our house comes LIGHT and another snow storm

By some miracle, the paint color is just what we wanted! Hurray. Thank you for all those who let me cry tears to them about paint colors (!) Good heavens. Yes, this includes the man at sherwin williams.

I'm putting this picture in to remember how glad I am that I'm done with doing measurements across the pacific ocean.

I hope I never see my kids in this spot.

We went up to the house in the evening to figure out how we wanted the doors trimmed-- very cute how they painted the doors! We love Alan's idea of painting the doors the main color with the alder trim. yay!!

first look at Joseph's beautiful bench!!

Paint is porcelain from sherwin williams

This picture brings mixed feelings...shivers because of the green undertones of the un-matchable floor and HAPPINESS because we don't have to put it in anymore! Thanks Joseph! Anyone want to buy 110 sq ft of flooring?

We love having Sara! Her enthusiasm for this project is something Joseph and I really, really appreciate!

We love the trim!!!

Here is Evan! He saved me from tile-meltdown. Thank you for walking me through the final plan for the master bathroom! I'm super excited about the tile we picked =) Jason will start tiling next week. hurray!

I could only drop everything and go to the tile store with Evan because Diana took over with the children... thank you sooo much Evan and Diana!

Do you see what is glorious about the next two pictures?? HURRAY! LIGHT! Light has come to the house on the hill. One room down. A few more to go.

The cabinets and bathtub walls were going to be installed today...but both of the trucks did not make it up the hill because we had another snowstorm.
The kitchen counters are loaded onto a ship that left China today! Arrival date: March 31.
Still no exterior. Who needs exterior anyway.
floors will start to be installed this week, hurray!
The upstairs is all trimmed! They are hoping to be done with the rest of the house by the end of next week. Hurray!!! Its almost, kind of, starting to feel like maybe, just maybe we might could possibly be finished soon.....
