it's happening!!!

All of a sudden, things started happening to the inside! It's exciting! Here are a lot of pictures!

 cement board, which is our exterior material, is inherently cement colored. Once it is all placed, then they will paint it a color which is going to be a very nice color that I am going to choose very, very soon.

While we were up at the house meeting with the endless number of subs working, we watched the front door trim go in. First the top..

then one side...

 Then the other! yay!

by the next day, the kitchen had almost all the doors on! Here is my vertical kitchen desk in a cabinet. excited for this!!

On Friday, we took a trip to salt lake to and pick up all our flooring and pick out the monte cristo granite . 

Noelle is showing us where the cuts will be made.

 This is my favorite picture. And the next one. Sara is one amazing lady. Joseph taught her how to use the belt sander and the random orbital sander...and she sanded all the beams for our master bedroom... wow Sara!!! We honestly don't know how we would have made it through the past week without her!! We love you Sara!!!

Trim guys (who have done such a great job!) finish up next week with the music room cabinets and mantles. Our awesome tile man started in the master and that will take about two weeks. So excited for our tile! Granite in master will start next week! Hurray! Our bathroom cabinets are being built and those will be installed in the next two or three weeks. Our stone in the kitchen is in the container coming across the ocean and arrives on March 31! The flooring guy started on Friday and will work on putting all the flooring in this next week. Hurray! 

Joseph is working on finish electrical, turning on the lights in the house is really about the biggest dream come true....When we sat in the house together last night I said, "Remember when you put in all the electrical?" Joseph responded, "I think it will be a very, very long time before I forget that." shiver. I can't believe Joseph did that. Anyway!

After the stone in the kitchen is in, the comes finish plumbing and last carpet... then if all goes well with putting the septic in (we need dry ground...)  then maybe, just maybe, perhaps we can move into our house next month! It almost, almost, almost seems real.
